![]() ![]() 2011’s Super Mario 3D Land did just that, and it was a breath of fresh air. Whenever I played a 3D Mario game as a kid, I always wondered what it’d be like if the gameplay was more in line with the 2D ones - a more conventional A to B platformer with a flagpole at the end of each level.
